What we collect

If you fill in the contact form on this site, we collect exactly what you type into it: your name, your email address, and your message. Nothing else is asked for and nothing else is inferred.

Separately, our analytics record ordinary visit data: pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, and the kind of browser and device you used.

Why we collect it

The form has one purpose: so we can reply to you about building something together. We do not sell, rent or share what you send us, and we do not add you to a mailing list. The analytics exist so we can tell whether this page is doing its job.

Where it goes

Form submissions are delivered by email through Resend and land in our info@codeandstate.com mailbox, which runs on Google Workspace. The site is hosted on Vercel. Analytics are handled by Rybbit, which we host ourselves, alongside Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics.

How long we keep it

Your message stays in our mailbox for as long as the conversation is useful. If it goes nowhere, we delete it.

Your choices

Write to info@codeandstate.com and ask us to delete what you sent, or to tell you what we hold, and we will. You do not have to explain why.
